Homework and Honesty Policy:
Written homework sets will be due in class almost every Thursday of the semester as noted in the schedule above.
Written solutions to homework problems must be presented in clear logical order and using complete English sentences.
The Computer Science Department policy on academic honesty will be in effect; click on "Academic_Honesty" from the class web page.
All the written work you turn in must be your own, completed on an individual basis. This is not meant to exclude the practice of group study by students in the course. However each student must compose his/her own answers to homework problems. Each student should understand his/her own answers, and under no circumstances copy those answers from some other person or source.
Students are encouraged to consult with the instructor whenever help is needed. In addition to the instructor's scheduled office hours, students can make appointments for other times.
Often e-mail is a convenient way to have short questions answered or to make an appointment.
