From Reginal L. Williams -- [RWUSNA95@excite.com] I appreciate your timely response. What I intend to do in this e-mail is provide you with enough details to forward to students wishing to expand his or her portfolios. This is a project (on-line lingerie store) that both myself and my wife came up with. We signed on with a company known as biztools.tv. What they provide is web hosting and web design technology via the following website: www.use-store.com. They assign to each member a password which allows you to go into the website to edit/create your website complete with a shopping cart. The Web Design tools feature "Pagesynth" website construction technology which allows you to build, manage and edit your website. Features of website include: Up to 8 customizable pages with information you script and organize Built in Search Capabilities Keyword indexing 75 MB Total working space 25 item shopping cart E-mail notification system among other features..... Shopping cart features include: Ability to showcase products in full color Category and Subcategory for product listings administrative area Product info display view order and payment information and process them off-line file upload for image handling etc......... I have played around with the features of the pagesynth technology and have created a rough-draft of my homepage. I will attempt to attach rough draft to give you an idea of where this is going. System is somewhat user-friendly, but you are constrained by templates and pre-built features that system has to offer. I am currently a student at the Navy Supply School here in Athens, GA, so I'm afraid that my obligations to training along with limited access to the computers will not allow me enough time to get a smooth product ready to launch by the end of May. What I'm looking for is for someone to continue the development of my website using the pagesynth technology. There is of course more details involved and the company does offer a 1-800 customer support line for questions to problems. I have sent off for catalogs of products that I intend to sell on my website which will need to be scanned and uploaded into the shopping cart feature of my website. There are also hyperlink features for certain product categories which will need to be activated, along with a hyperlink to MS Outlook e-mail already established in Company's name "Elingeriefactory" I will also need a Logo design for my company name to integrate onto the homepagee. I am considered a sole-proprietor and do have an active Business tax ID or Employee Identification Number. Hosting fees have already been paid for as well as fees for the shopping cart. I've also established a merchant account for the online business, which will accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express in a secure format using "Linkpoint Select API." All transactions will be encrypted. A one on one with whoever decides to take the project would definitely be necessary in order to provide a greater level of detail. Price of the project is negotiable. All interested parties should contact me via e-mail to let me know what they are willing to accept to take on the project and we can go from there. I will be out of the Athens area until the 28th of April, but I will have access to my e-mail account. I will remain in Athens until the 1st of June and will be available anytime after 5 pm on the weekdays to discuss details or conduct follow-up meetings as necessary. My only deadline is to have it complete prior to my departure on the ist of June. Thus, if someone is savvy enough to complete the project in a minimal amount of time, all the better! Payment will be negotiated prior to the start of the project. Thanks again for all your help. Reginal L.
