Notes
- Kelly and Jane met last week and talked about ajaxalytics and AMME2:
- Jane got access to ajaxalytics, logs on lime, is learning GraphViz
- Kelly has "AMME2" metrics for our logs (current crypto logs), but some
problems exist in applying these to our data
- Our goal is to be able to separate novices from experts in
an automated way (evaluator supervision is okay). Ideas:
- Calculate entropy for each user -- separate into novice and advanced
- Have evaluator select "good" CBMGs and use these entropy values to separate users
- Use GraphViz + interaction to fade out edges and see transactions appear
- Have evaluator define transactions and then look for frequency of occurrence of
those transactions to determine effectiveness for users who have already been grouped
by some other means
- Kelly met with Mark and Cristina and ....
- Progress toward graphs/slides for Jessie:
- Kelly's paper-in-progress status ...
For Next Week:
- Calculate entropy for matrices
- Eileen - get Kelly a good entropy formula and example
- Jane - continue to explore GraphViz, read papers about CBMGs and Petri Nets:
- Naveed - read Ivory thesis
