Kelly has been corresponding with Prof. Nasraoui. We plan to compare our algorithm with her HUNC algorithm (rather than the older CARD algorithm). We will read on of her papers (below) for next week.
Also, we discussed the notion of using entropy data to cluster users: directed site use (low entropy) versus random browsing (higher entropy) and will explore to see if this is useful. The second paper below may provide sufficient description of entropy calculation.
