Research InterestsJeffrey Smith received the PhD from North Carolina State University in 1978, and has been at the University of Georgia since 1981. He designed, constructed, and operated the EPOC special-purpose processor for integer factoring. His research interests are processor architecture, operating systems methods, software engineering, and computer aided design of hardware and software systems.
