Kang Li is an associate professor of Computer Science at the University of Georgia. He is the director of the Network System and Security (NSS) Lab at UGA.

Kang Li's research interests are in the area of computer network and operating systems, especially system issues related to data security and privacy. His recent research focuses on designing effective and efficient solutions to defend against various network abuses, such as Denial-of-Service attacks and SPAM.

His current research is supported by National Science Foundation and Georgia Research Alliance.
