I am an associate professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia. I am also the graduate coordinator of the UGA Institute for Artificial Intelligence, a member of the UGA Institute of Bioinformatics and the UGA Faculty of Engineering.

Research interests
Artificial Intelligence Methods including Genetic Algorithms, Evolutionary Computation and Machine Learning.
Artificial Intelligence Applications including Engineering Design Optimization, Computational Biology.
