Additional information about the assigned projects
You will be using Protege ontology editor to create your ontology. I suggest you download version 4.1 of Protege. The University of Manchester offers a good tutorial on Protege 4.
We will be using a JBoss installation on uml. Please, consult examples and additional information about the web service deployment process in my directory on odin: ~kochut/cs8350/web-serv.
Current setup on uml:
- JBoss Application Server 6.1, installed in /opt/jboss-6.1.0.Final (a symbolic link /opt/jboss is also available)
- JBoss WS (Native Stack) 3.4.1
- JBoss RESTEasy 2.2.1
- Sun (Oracle) Java JDK (1.6.0_27) is in /usr/java/latest (it is a symbolic link)
- IBM Java JDK is in /opt/ibm-java-x86_64-60 (symbolic link /opt/ibm-java is available, as well).
- Apache ant (1.7.1) is in /usr/bin.
