A COLLADA (.dae) file (export from Google SkechUp Pro)
  • The COLLADA model TREE.dae
  • Original SketchUp model (downloaded and cached here from Google)

  • Information you need to modify colors of the COLLADA file programatically
    • Simple kml file to load the above .dae file. (download loacally to view it)
    • In the Scale section modify the z value to make it long (x and y should have the same value to look ok)
    • For this particular .dae file,
      • to change the color of the leaves: modify the color parameters in the material0-effect section.
      • to change the color of the trunk: modify the color parameters in the material1-effect section.
