Thanks for visiting! My name is Anousha Mesbah, and I am a PhD student at the department of computer science at UGA. I studied the most part of my bachelor degree at the University Of Nicosia, Cyprus (A very beautiful island). I then transferred to the University Of Indianapolis the very last semester, and I got my degree from there. Now I am a graduate student at the University of Georgia. I am originaly from Tehran, Iran. I grew up there and left my country when I was 17. I must say, each and every university/country I have been to, taught me a new lesson in life and I cannot appreciate it more.
I like all kind of board games. I love to play chess and I get quite competitive! Recently I have been playing kickball with some friends. I love to go to the gym and workout. About American sports, I have learnt about American Football and I like it (GO COLTS… they are good!!!) but to be honest nothing beats soccer ;).
My career goal for now is to get an internship in a research lab (IBM, Microsoft ...) where I can extend my knowledge and experience and work with extrodinary people. I would love to work in an industry/research lab in the future as well. I also love to teach, but I am not sure about chosing a career in academia.
