I am fascinated by Knowledge engineering. The process of accumulating data, exatracting information and then interpreting it as Knowledge. Knowledge that can be used in myriad ways. I like identifying and exploiting the hidden patterns that reveal valuable facts and insights, which are generally inconspicuous in nature. There is virtually no limit to the amount of knowledge that can be extracted, given the exponential nature of this process. I am honing my skill in the fields of Knowledge extraction and information retrieval. I wish to explore all the data that has been gathered or is being gathered and develop techniques and technology that will make sense of this data and present is as Knowledge rather than just mere jargon.

My interest in Knowledge Engineering and Security is since the time I started learning computers. Field of Semantic Web and Information Systems are my recent ventures. What interest me about the semantic web is its ability to amplify the automatic integration of web components. You might get some idea of what am talking about here I also want to know more about Algorithms. I have to admit that algorithms is one of topic I used to avoid, until I realised that this is something really basic for computer scientist. My interest sparked when I stumbled across this one.
Apart from this (yes there is more), I am recently distracted by Web Crawlers. I am spending awful amount of time in learning about parser and crawlers in Python. Soon this is going to get supplement of complex ranking and graph traversing algorithms. And finally I am trying to dive into cryptology, but I haven't yet developed any grounds for it.
