    • Leading the research and development of Optima: An Ontology Alignment framework.
    • Evolved an inexact ontology alignment algorithm from ‘Expectation Maximization’ algorithm.
    • Introduced a novel ‘Integrated Semantic-lexical Similarity’ measure for Ontology concepts.
      • A novel and intutive way of integrating semantic similarity with lexical matching
    • Studied the effect of WordNet in Ontology Alignment.
      • Submitted a conference Paper to IAAI 2011 conference (awaiting conformation).
    • Derived a flavor of SAGE algorithm for ‘Large Scale Ontology Mapping.

    • Solved the problem of long execution time by proper coding practise and tuning thealgorithims.
    • Solved the problem of low F-measure time by integrating WordNet.
      • Derived useful versions of existing similarity measures to integrate WordNet effectifely and efficiently.
    • Improved the inferencing and matching capability of ProcGap by developing a universal ontology (CR Ontology) for Capabilities and Requirements.
      • Developed a set of semi automatic tools set to build the CR Ontology.

    I was actively involved in the research and develpment sprints of FAST search's next generation platform Juno for next generation search solution Mass. Later this compony has been accuired by Microsoft and the Juno project too. Now this project delivers search capability to Microsoft's Sharepoint.

    • Designed, implemented and tested configuration service for Next Gen. JUNO search framework of Next Gen. Mass search engine.
      • The responsibilities included development of RMI style server client which will read an XML configuration host provider services and inject request services.
    • Management & Monitoring tool development to optimize the Juno platform.
    • Developed JDBC driver and JDBC-ODBC Bridge for FAST Index, a propriety database for FAST Search.
  • Software Engineer – Product & Development , Learna Education Inc, Ontario Canada; Nov 2006 – Dec 2007
    • Lead the Software Development Team (JAVA & Flash) and Testing Team.
      • The responsibilities include designing, work assignment, training, and recruitment, motivating and leading the team to meet the goals.
    • Designed and developed the Security Manager & Live Update Manager Module for the whole software system.
