The Board of Regents has approved the appointment of Dr. Roberto Perdisci to the Patty and D.R. Grimes Distinguished Professorship in Computer Science. This prestigious title is awarded to faculty who have an outstanding record in externally funded research and/or scholarly publications. 

The Department of Computer Science at the University of Georgia invites applications for a full-time, Limited-Term Lecturer position starting no later than January 1, 2021. This position is non-tenure track and can be renewed annually, but is anticipated to be two years in duration, with the possibility for renewal for a third year.

Angela is working to advance research at the intersection of computer science and sustainability. Her goal is to become a lead researcher at NOAA, where she plans to apply machine learning techniques to environmental data in order to advance the understanding of natural processes.
